Army of Ages
Rated 4 / 5 stars August 30, 2011
Good game.
This is a good game, no doubt about it. It has a way better system of building units. I do like the way that you build unit factories instead of just spam building units. I like the factories, but not the abilities. The abilities arseemingly okay. The one in the first age is really quite useful. It only hits ground enemies, but there aren't that many air units, so not really a problem. Then, the arrow special. It was great. It destroyed everything. But, that is the problem. It doesn't get any weaker in the later ages. It was almost more powerful than the space ability in the space age. The arrow needs to be powered down a lot. The later abilities need to come much faster, like the wheel or the bomber. Other than the arrow situation, specials are okay. Then, units. Well, I wasn't very happy with the bonuses. They didn't seem to affect anything much. I liked the weapon triangle system more, where heavey is good against infantry, infantry angainst anti-tank, and so on. The bonus system could work, if it was more impactful. There was another glitch that happened. Enemies and allies would not die right away. If they got hit while attacking, they would cooly finish their attack, the die. This wouldn't be an issue, except that units would continue attacking this unit that already died. While a unit was completeing its respective 'dying' animation, they would still block bullets, and arrows. So, basically, arrows from the special would still stop in mid-air, even thought the enemy was already falling to the ground, because until the enemy was gone from sight, it still was in the air, in a sense. Also, the video's audio and video is off. It is silly when it is off. Well, anyway, it is a good game, but has numerous glitches that need to be sorted out.

Good job!
But, there are some glitches that need to be worked out. If you defeat an enemy, and right after you click go another enemy appears, the game freezes. Also, if you defeat somone and just a bit later an enemy apears, you can click "go", and bypass the enemy. I did this with a city once. But, other than these minor bugs, the game is great. I wish you could level up and get more of those points, though...

Great Game!
This game is really good. I like the many different modes and intro video. Keep them coming!
P.S. when you click on game guide, it takes you to the guide for thing thing 2, not arena 2.

So great!
Very epic piece of music. There really is little you could have done to improve it. It might have been cool if, like at 0:48 and 2:25, zombie grunts. It would have been cool if all through the song there were random cries or roars. Especially like the part at 3:06 with the epic organ solo.
Great song!

Good twist!
I really enjoyed this one. Although there are some things that could fixed. Throughout the song, the drums kind of felt out of place. Also, the intro was a bit long. Also, could have made it with a loop, as there was no special intro!
But otherwise, very good!

Very good!
I know you didn't make all these tracks, but the song was well made. One of the better remakes of Ridleys theme.
But, in some parts, like :59, transitions were really rough. It felt like the song changed.
Also, the guitar sounded kind of surpressed in some parts, like you strumed a note and then immediately held the strings to stop the sound. I thought it would have been better if the strings were allowed to vibrate more.
But overall, great remix. Huge props!
All the guitar chord work was done by Son-of-Dime, and the drums. I added all the orchestra and bass, and the really weird high guitar notes were done by me. Thanks for the review.

Nice work
Her back was kind of arched a bit much, but other than that a great piece. You also could have hinted at what the letter said usuing the art name, instead of just "letter"
Ah damn you're right. It is a bit too arched. I need to get over my obsession with unnecesary curves. And ah....I felt too uncreative to write a better title. But I suppose I could change it.

Great job!
This was a really good movie! I think it might have been better to have actually filmed it inside minecraft, rather than animated it. The animation was incredible. I really liked it, but for a documentary like this, I might have liked t see it filmed in minecraft itself. Also, the voice was a bit quiet. I fund the music and sounds overtook it sometimes, and it was too quiet in the first place. For the most part I could make out what the narrator was saying (and the voice was good), but it was too quiet. Also, it might have been cool if he had to fight other mobs. I know in game if two mobs attack each other they will try to kill one another. That might have been good.
I liked the movie. I liked how realistic it was in context to the game minecraft, and over-all it was really great. Just maybe tone the voice up, because it got drowned out at some times. But, really, fantastic job!

Nice
That was awesome. The animation couldn't really have been improved, except for the gun part, it was over-top of the text box?
Also, why is everyone saying they couldn't read it? There was a button for it...
Anyway, touching up spelling, grammer, quality of actual drawings(gun, etc.) would improve this. Otherwise, a masterpiece. Good job!

So great
I loved the whole thing. It was really funny when the guys head started to explode.
The funniest part though, was the links faces when Tingle showed up. They all just smiled and head banged. Plus the music was actually really good. You could do a lot with talent like this. I can't wait to see more from you, Jenjamik!
