Recently I have been researching Euler's number (e = 2.718281828459045...), and there are a lot of interesting things about it. It is used in finance to calculate compound interest. It can be made (is made) by adding 1/0! + 1/1! + 1/2! ... and so on. It is the base of the ln function, where ln = log base e. I know it's nerdy, but I like finding this kind of stuff out. I recommend researching special properties of e yourself!
